Our rescue was founded by a Veterinary Technician with a passion for caring for orphaned kittens. Since 2009, she has personally cared for numerous hand raised orphans varying from 2 to 10 days old when placed in her care. In addition to bottle feeding orphans, she has also cared for many critical care and special needs cats and kittens. Unfortunately, sometimes not all lives can be saved, but for every one that is saved it makes a world of difference.
Due to an increase in the numbers of orphaned kittens in our area, the need for an organization dedicated to those under 12 weeks of age has become necessary. Our mission is to provide a safe place and health care for orphaned/abandoned, critical care and special needs kittens ranging in age from newborn to 12 weeks of age. Kittens in our care will be assessed by a veterinarian, and will receive a Feline Leukemia/FIV combo test. All kittens recieve age-appropriate vaccinations. Kittens will also be dewormed, microchipped, and will be spayed or neutered before being placed as adoptable status. Adoption fees for all kittens will be $80, and our application is available on the Forms page. We will accept pre-adoption holds for young kittens with an approved application and 50% deposit .
